There is great deal to learn about the political and geographical history of the Pietermaritzburg region here. The artifacts and exhibits are well displayed and very interesting.

I am ashamed to say we were the only 4 visitors so we were shown round the various buildings by a guide. There are many interesting artifacts and a lot of information about the history of this area.
