Matingwe Lodge, near Velwater in Limpopo, lies adjacent to the larger Welgevonden Reserve. The bushveld is rich in indigenous species of plant and animal life. Sable antelope, amongst other plains game, roam freely on the reserve. Inside the main lodge, find the restaurant and living area, tastefully decorated to suit the African safari setting. All cabins have a Master bedroom with double or twin beds with a bathroom & shower en-suite. All rooms are serviced daily and equipped with safety deposit boxes, linen, bath towels, tea making facilities. Please bring your own beach towels. Due to its location and erratic power supply, the cabins have variable speed fans and gas water heaters. Our self-catering units include a small kitchenette, fridge / freezer combination and an outside Brei area. Mzimbete Guest House is an 8 sleeper unit overlooking the ocean and has a fully equipped kitchen and small laundry which makes it ideal for the larger family. Meals are catered for by the Restaurant and Pub which overlooks the Indian Ocean.
