In 1994 Foresta Timber and Board opened its doors to the public. Now 20 years later, we have grown to be one of Gauteng's largest wholesalers of timber and related products. In recent years a wide variety of specialised machined products have been added to the product mix helping 'Broaden the Horizons' for Foresta's customer base. The DIY factory shop and Warehouse located in Alrode, Alberton provides timber and related products to both Trade and DIY Customers. In 2009 the Cable Drums division located on the Timber and Board site was relocated to provide opportunity for growth and expansion for both Cable Drums and Timber and Board. Foresta Timber & Board and Foresta Cable Drums are together known as The Foresta Timber Group.
