Dr MC Conradie has been in private practice since November 2013 at Netcare Waterfall City Hospital. Prior to this, Dr Conradie has been the Head of the Urology Department at the Pietermaritzburg Metropolitan Hospital Complex since 2006. After obtaining her degree as an urologist at the Nelson R Mandela School of Medicine in South Africa, she furthered her Endourology training at the Washington University in St. Louis, USA and also completed her Robotic Surgery Fellowship at Irvine University California in the USA. Dr Conradie's main focus in her professional and academic career is laparoscopic urology where she played a leading role in the development and training of laparoscopic urological surgery in South Africa and she developed numerous innovative laparoscopic techniques in laparoscopic urological surgery.
