    An up market steak house, with a good selection of dishes at reasonable, market related prices. Parking is a bit of an issue because it is located on busy Gordon Road.

The late Ian Baldwin Gillies and Jennifer Gillies opened Giles in 1994. Giles was sold to a consortium in 2018. The restaurant is in the throes of being upgraded and is now run by the Founders Grill family.
