Estelle Novella & her practice colleagues provide assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for a wide range of hearing, speech, language & listening problems. The practice opened its doors in January 2000. We have been blessed and have grown from strength to strength. We currently run four practices. The main practice is situated in the NHC Medical Centre in Honeydew. Here we offer both Speech therapy and Audiology services. The other Audiology practices are at the Randburg Medicross, the NHC Medical Centre in Northcliff, as well as the NHC Medical Centre in Centurion. We provide a wide range of Audiology services for all ages, including hearing tests (all ages), hearing aid fittings, custom earplugs, assistance with tinnitus and more. I love fitting clients with hearing aids and seeing how they experience new sounds! The Hearing- and Speech Centre specializes in communication disorders from birth till elderly. We provide diagnostic evaluation and / or therapy concerning articulatory-, language- and voice disorders. We work in a team approach with the Parents, Teachers, Occupational Therapists and Educational Psychologists. We do diagnostic evaluation of all hearing- and auditory processing disorders, as well as the necessary intervention acquired. This will include the selection and fitting of hearing aids, and / or auditory rehabilitation programs. We make use of all hearing aid companies to service and repair all makes of hearing aids. We provide an adaptation program to successfully use and adapt to the hearing aids. We provide hearing protectors where required, e. g. working in noisy environments, shooting exercises and exposure to loud environmental noises at sport stadiums. We do medico legal evaluations and provide expert witness reports concerning our field of expertise.

Speech therapy: Assessments and therapy offered for children and adults with speech, language, voice, swallowing and auditory processing difficulties. Assist children who have language difficulties due to exposure to two or more Languages. Audiology services: Conduct hearing tests for children and adults. Fit hearing aids. Supply swim plugs. Industrial audiology services, CAPD tests conducted, aural rehabilitation for children with hearing aids and cochlear implants. ** Special interests: Managing feeding and communication challenges in children with Neuro-developmental disorders such as cerebral palsy, visual impairments, autism, non-verbal clients who need AAC, cleft lip and palate, auditory processing assessments.
