A beautiful place situated on the banks of the Vel River located 10km outside Parys and 120km south of Johannesburg. We have gone to great lengths to best utilise the beautiful environment of the Vel River and to create a conferencing, accommodation and in-house-run team-building venue where tranquillity and hospitality are paramount. Team-building activities are an important part of the SunWa experience. Qualified SunWa facilitators focus on elements of teamwork and interpersonal dynamics.

The Herberg Hotel is a fully licensed hotel & ladies bar, situated on the banks of the Wilge River which in turn flows into the Vel River. We are only 130km from Johannesburg International Airport and the hotel is the ideal location to start or end any stopover in the Free State. Sophisticated accommodation is provided in elegant en-suite rooms. Each room has its own private entrance that overlooks the Vel River. The hotel has a swimming pool with a brei (barbecue) area and a licensed bar with DStv. Meals are available on request and ample parking is provided at the hotel. Children of all ages are welcome.
