Naledi Hospice was established in 1989 to meet the needs of those suffering from incurable diseases in Bloemfontein and the greater Mangaung ("Place of the lion") region and includes the St. Nicholas Children's Hospice, established in 1998 in response to the increasing number of children referred to the programmes, especially children infected by HIV and AIDS.

Ladybrand Hospice provides home-based palliative care to patients and families in the Ladybrand, Manyatseng and Mauersnek areas.

Viljoenskroon Hospice was founded in 1993 and has been actively involved in Home-based care for terminally ill patients since its inception. Traditionally we were caring for people suffering with terminal cancer and other life threatening diseases, until the HIV and Aids hit our community.
