The WillowBrew story begins with Santo and Silvana Mengoli, Italian nationals and coffee fanatics who found themselves settling into the KwaZulu Natal Midlands. After spending much time and money, the Mengolis grew increasingly frustrated with how difficult it was to find high quality Espresso Coffee in South Africa. In 2018, having failed to find coffee which met their needs the Mengolis joined forces with the Dewkaran family, KwaZulu Natal natives with an entrepreneurial mindset and a history in the South African beverage industry. Together we have made it our aim to provide superior Coffee products and outstanding customer service to coffee lovers across South Africa.

Coffeeberry Cafe is obsessed with great coffee and good food. Coffeeberry is located on the Piazza at Cascades Centre in Pietermaritzburg. It serves a wide variety of dishes, including breakfast (served all day), light meals (freshly prepared pizzas, salads, sandwiches, burgers and pasta) and a tempting array of more substantial signature dishes for dinner. Favourites at Coffeeberry are the award-winning cappuccinos, giant gourmet pancakes and gorgeous, freshly-baked cakes and pastries. Coffeeberry is also licenced and has a small select wine list and craft beer .
