Declared a Provincial heritage site in 2004, the Unisa Little Theatre is a uniquely designed classical drama theatre situated in the heart of Pretoria's central business district. Designed by acclaimed South African architect, Norman Eaton, the theatre is fully equipped to support all fields of performing arts, and is considered one of the most established dance theatres in South Africa. Over the past 20 years, the theatre has housed many prolific events, including a number of notable charity events. In fact, in 2005, Nelson Mandela visited the theatre for a Mahube HIV / AIDS benefit concert which formed part of his 87th birthday celebrations. Looking for a venue for your show or event? Since the launch of "Die Blou Hond" at Casa Toscana Lodge in Pretoria on the 28th of August 2013, we have gone from strength to strength... The support we have received from Pretoria and the surrounding areas has been incredible and we are so blessed and thankful for the support. The aim of "Die Blou Hond" has always been to provide our clients with a unique experience packed with the best in South African entertainment at a reasonable price. "Die Blou Hond" is truly a one of a kind experience and not to be missed. *** To briefly explain to you how our evenings are put together: The doors will open at 18: 00, but don't worry if you are a bit early, welcome drinks and light snacks will be available. A yummy full Buffet Dinner with Dessert Platters and Filter Coffee is included in the experience and will be available from 18: 00 till 19: 00. At 19: 00 the legendary Philip Moolman will direct the evening's entertainment in his own special way as you experience the best in South African.
