NCT is a marketing co-operative catering to the needs of private and independent timber growers. We are regarded as the largest forestry marketing organisation in southern Africa, with a membership of approximately 1, 800 shareholding members, representing a total area of 300, 000ha - 21% of afforested land in South Africa. NCT is recognised as an international supplier of quality round wood timber, hardwood pulp and biomass chips. Our mission is to assist members to achieve their full forestry potential and optimise financial results on a sustainable basis. Farming

Poplar Creek's main activity is growing avocados for the local and export market. Poplar Creek also owns and operates the Glenfalloch Nguni Stud and the Glen Falloch Lipizzaner Horse Stud as well as grows Teff, Oats, Lucerne and Eragrostis.

SAFCOL's mandate is; to conduct forestry business which includes timber harvesting, timber processing and related activities, both domestically and internationally. Through our operations we employ about 5000 people through direct and indirect employment and by extension, are responsible for about 20 000 lives in communities adjacent our operations.
