Your hosts, Nelleke and Michael Elston have recently taken ownership of this long-established guest house situated in Caledon Street, centrally located in George. They have introduced a revitalising contemporary influence, without compromising the home's historic character. Bedrooms are all en-suite, have flat- screen televisions, DStv, queen-sized beds with good quality mattresses and white percale linen. Coffee / tea making facilities and bar fridges are available in all the rooms. Two studio self-catering units are equipped with induction stove, fridge and small kitchenette. Guests are within walking distance to many good restaurants and coffee shops in the centre of town, the George Botanical Gardens, as well as the George Museum. The guest house also offers free WIFI, a swimming pool and secure, off-street parking. Whispering Oaks is a short 8km drive to Victoria Bay beach and within 10km to various golf courses, including the well-known George Golf Course and Fancourt golf cours
