A Holocaust museum with a gorgeous cafe offering breakfasts, lunches and delicious teas. Our opening hours are Monday - Thursday 8. 30 am - 4pm (kitchen closes at 3. 30pm) Sundays 9am - 4pm and Fridays 8. 30am - 2pm (kitchen closes at 1. 30pm) We are closed on Saturdays and Jewish holidays.

Cato Manor was once the site of forced removals - it is now a site of multi million development. This centre attempts to portray the fascinating history of the Cato Manor area.

The William Campbell picture collection contains one of South Africa's finest collections of work by black South African artists such as Jabulani Ntuli, Gerard Benghu and Dsmt Mnguni. The collection also includes 250 paintings by Barbara Tyrell, depicting Zulu social life and customs. The museum is still furnished much as it was when the Campbell family was still there. Replica of the original George Robinson home built in 1850. It belonged to George Robinson (early editor of the Mercury) and then to his son Sir John Robinson, First Prime Minister of Natal during the 1890's. The building was erected as a courthouse in 1866. Among its collections this museum has photos, artifacts and documents. It is a national monument.
