"A Guide to Thatch Construction in South Africa" is available in English, Zulu and Sesotho and is downloadable at no cost from the TASA website. Members sign a Code of Ethics and Conduct and are committed to uphold the SANS 10407 (Thatched Roof Construction) Specification requirements. SATAS (South African Technical Auditing Services) conduct inspections before a contractor is accepted as a member and manage also all complaints received.
